Curipod is a Norwegian-built interactive lesson platform that uses AI to generate activity-based lesson slides from a topic or prompt. Teachers type a subject, Curipod generates a complete interactive presentation with polls, word clouds, open-ended questions, drawing prompts, and multiple-choice quizzes. Students join using a code, no account creation required, and engage in real time from any device.
For this review, we assessed lesson generation, writing practice, feedback, teacher control, reports, test preparation, student access, and the 2026 plan structure.
The AI generation speed is genuinely impressive. Describe a lesson topic and Curipod produces a complete interactive slide sequence in seconds. Each slide type is built for student response: word clouds capture brainstorming, polls check for understanding, open questions gather written thinking, and drawing activities work for visual concepts. Teachers can add, remove, or edit any slide before launching.
Real-time response analytics are the core teaching tool. As students respond, the teacher’s view shows live data: word cloud formations, poll results, written response distribution. This gives teachers instant, objective visibility into what the class understands and what needs more attention before moving forward. For a teacher who relies on hand-raising and eye contact to gauge understanding, this level of simultaneous response data changes how formative assessment works.
The student experience is friction-free. Students join with a class code and begin responding immediately. No email, no account, no app download. For schools with mixed device environments or younger students who struggle with login processes, this matters more than most edtech companies acknowledge.
Presentation building doubles as lesson planning. Teachers export Curipod slides to share with absent students, post to Google Classroom, or archive as resources. The platform integrates natively with Google Classroom for link sharing, with deeper LMS integration (SSO, grade passback) available on the school and district tier.
AI-generated content quality is strong for scaffolding but requires teacher review. Curipod questions can be generic on niche topics, and the slide structure occasionally needs manual reordering to match a specific lesson arc. It’s a 60-second starting point, not a finished lesson.
The free plan gives teachers and students weekly sessions with usage caps. The School & District tier is custom-priced through sales. Curipod also offers an ELA Curriculum Alignment tier with curriculum-mapped writing tasks, pacing alignment, test-preparation libraries, professional development, and dedicated implementation support. No individual paid plan sits between free and institutional pricing, which limits options for individual teachers who want higher limits without a school purchase.
